SP1 Service Pack for Avid Liquid 7 now available

Avid Liquid 7.0 Service Pack 1 addresses the following issues:



- Improved LFE encoding with surround sound.

- Improved Roll and Crawl real-time performance.

- Improved performance of Secondary Color Correction in HDV.

- Corrects Linear Timewarp field reversal in NTSC with an nVidia graphics card.



Avid Liquid 7.0 Service Pack 1 is classified as a Customer Patch Release (CPR).



It can be found at http://www.avid.com/onlinesupport/downloadcpr.asp



If you agree to the terms of the CPR download, you will be presented with a series of folders. Click on the folder titled Avid Liquid 7. The Service Pack update is located in this folder.



To install Avid Liquid 7.0 Service Pack 1, unzip Avid Liquid 7 Service Pack 1.zip. You will notice that the included file is called liquid.SP1.Setup.EX.



Change the name of the file, specifically, .EX to .exe. This will turn the file into a valid executable. Once that is done, double click on the file to launch the updater and follow the onscreen instructions.
